Basic Web page fees start at $200 for set up and $10 per month. However, most businesses and organization will find that an effective web site with a number of dynamic and interactive features may cost several thousand dollars for set up and fifty to one hundred fifty dollars per month. Very large and extremely interactive sites may costs several tens of thousands of dollars to create and a few hundred dollars a month to have hosted.

Why should an organization pay thousands of dollars to have a site developed, when they could have a very basic site for a few hundred? It is simply a matter of 'getting what you pay for'. One company could simply do a mass mailing of business, and another company could have brochures and other marketing literature prepared.
