Chicago
Fireside Bowl(2648 W. Fullerton, Chicago; (312)486-2700). There's punk/ska/hardcore shows there just about every week. The place is actually an old bowling alley. -Geph
Thirsty Whale(880 W. Grand, River Grove, IL; (708) 456-2414). This is a great place to see a good show. Problem is that you cant be guaranteed that there will be a punk/ska band there every week, but when there is, its worth seeing. -Geph Off the Alley(On Dixe Hwy. Behind Record Swap, Homewood, IL; (708).798.2252 <--for directions/info). Saturday's the day to go for punk and/or ska bands. Give'em a call for directions, and be sure to check out the Record Swap. -Geph

Morris
Mike's Entertainment(104 W Illinois Ave., (815).941.1545). The place just started to have bands play on weekends. They've got pool tables, video games, air hockey.... and a juice bar. -Geph

Rockford
The PIT(3210 Williams Ave., Rockford, IL; (815) 963-3929). Another really fun place. Good shows almost every week. This place is a bit larger than the others, so you'll see some bigger bands playing there often. -Geph
